On the weekend of June 11th/12th, 2005,  'Tina and John went to a muster at Dinefwr Park in Llandeilo.

This was a very nice little event, with a clearly scripted battle, carefully organised so that the bulk of the actual fighting took place right in front of the crowd.  A nice feature of the battles was that when the organisers realised that there were some Forlorn Hope present, they immediately gave us the job of providing a file of skirmishers to open the battle.

Although a few people had expressed an interest in the event, only John, 'Tina, Keith Foster and Dermot Tackaberry were able to make it in the end.

There was no beer tent on site, but The Castle Hotel in Llandeilo was recommended, and proved to be having a mini beer festival, and so had a huge range of beers.  It was a bit crowded (!), and so despite the efforts of some local musicians and a few stalwarts, there wasn't much singing to be had.
